I've only read 3 of the books in the series,but they were insane. It's worth it, I think. Long series, just to warn you.

from what i saw no thicker then the 1st HP

Yeah, that's about the average for the series. 300 pages or so.

Libraries are truely a good place to escape too.

Anyone ever read compound? Its a good book I think, just finished reading it a couple of days ago.

Its about this family who is taken underground into a bunker by their father when nuclear war break out, and they try to survive down there. I cant tell anymore than that without giving it away. It is an awesome book and you would like it.

As for Compound, no I haven't read it. But it sounds good, though.
