Yeah, how much times did you read it? I read it 7 times just to try and figure out some hints on how the book ends and all...My brother started reading the first one...He was at the 50th page and he said "Oh cool! There's only..." Then he saw the number of pages in the book "Dang it..." and he threw the book away.

Some people just read for achievements...You have to read for fun or...Well...It ain't fun!

Like I said I used to be so obessed with it. So, I don't know really know how many times. But I am telling you, in my family, I used to be the Harry Potter ultimate fan.

I was it too...My dad even suggested we go to California for a prize-winning Harry Potter knowledge competition...I refused of course

My dad was so sure we would win the grand prize of 10K dollars but it would be mine not his And I really don't care much about money anymore.

I didn't (and don't) have many posters or such, but I've read all the books quite often. The first, sixth and seventh in two languages. That's just weird! I mean, you read a book in a foreign language, than in your own and you think: "I thought this happened in an other way" or: "WTH!!! Whats going on! I don't remember him/her to have said this!!". As said, just weird... ;)
On my um... 7th, I guess, birthday, my mom did a HP quiz (guess who won ;) )

Oh, so you used to be a fan too of the series too? I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't know Harry Potter. And yeah Klaus, that would have been really weird. Thank ggodness, I never read any books in my own language. I still prefer english.

And ahahaha... I think we need to make a thread consisting of facts and questions about Harry potter, and the one who will win will get a special title.

EDIT: @Matt: Oh well, why you didnt join? I would reaally love to see you holding an award for being the ultimate Harry Potter fan for asking questions related to the series.

Bleh, the first four I've read at least 25-30 times and the last three about 15-20 times and I am totally not exaggerating. Every time I read them, the holes that I notice seem to increase...

I know what you mean...Every time I re-read a book, I find holes.

OMG!! Same here. Harry Potter always makes me do this--> Its amusing isn't it? You almost know all the details and lines but everytime you re-read it, you always find something..

It's fun to read it for the first time but it's also fun to read it a second time.

I've read the whole series 4 times.I do not have all of the books,so I read the ones I'm missing when I can get to a library.

I really like the idea of the questions. I used to be a fanatiic as well. I didn't have posters or anything, but I have several different games of them like board wise. And I have all of the video games. I have read the entire series I think 13 times, maybe a few more times. I am the Harry Potter champion in my house. I have never lost a game of scene it Harry Potter.

I've read the whole series at least 7 times..Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was the first book I read when I was kid

Well I am gonna read them again as the next series i think. That would make it around 15 i think.

Ah...here we go.

Book 1: 50-60 times

Book 2: 45-50 times

Book 3: 60-70 times

Book 4: 75-85 times

Book 5: 90-105 times

Book 6: 90-110 times

Book 7: 115-125 times.

No joke either. I re-read them more than I care to admit. I re-read the last 3 more because they're the ones I have in my room the most. The rest are...I forget where. But I have the movies for the first four, and the games for the 2nd and 3rd.

As for this questions thing...I'm all for it. I wouldn't mind seeing if I could show you all up. Or get pwnd. Either or works for me.

A ridiculous number of times. Cover to cover, god knows how many times and I still pick them up and read random chapters constantly.

I read each book 3 times after the series ended,but then I could not read them anymore because the ending was so unsatisfying to me.
